About Our First Lady

Carol Hickmon Franklin is a native of Gainesville, Florida with a natural gift to organize and plan.

Her heart’s desire is to serve alongside her husband and be a continual helpmate to him. Since being at Bethlehem, she has organized a quarterly Women’s Gathering as well as a monthly women’s fellowship which is affectionately called “Sister 2 Sister”. Her passion work is working with the Women’s Ministry and always uplifting and building women of GOD. First Lady Carol has an affection for designing women’s activities and helping where she can throughout the ministries of Bethlehem.

First Lady Carol maintains a consistent life of devotion. In March, 2020 at the start of the Pandemic, she birthed a weekly Women of Grace Prayer call which continues to be a blessing to ladies within the Bethlehem family and others as well. She continues to seek GOD in every aspect of her life. She is a loving wife to Pastor Leonard Franklin, Jr. for thirty years and a devoted mother to their daughter, Carlen who she often says is her best blessing in life.

First Lady Carol is happy to share and do whatever it takes to “get it done”. She strives for excellence in all her endeavors. She owns her own travel agency and continues to service her clients with the same level of excellence. With such a busy life and always on the go, First Lady Carol loves the opportunity to hang out with her family and friends and travels anytime she can get away.
